Eberhard August Wilhelm von Zimmermann (* 17. August 1743 Uelzen † 04. July 1815 Brunswick) was a German geographer and biologist. He was Gauß’ teacher at the Collegium Carolinum in Brunswick. He also published various theses in natural science and did different experiments like doing a level survey of the Brocken.
