Karl Ludwig Harding (* 29. September 1765 in Lauenburg † 31. August 1834 in Göttingen) was a German astronomer. He studied theology in Göttingen but was always interested in astronomy. So, he in 1796 became an inspector and in 1800 an observant at the observatory in Lilienthal. In 1805 he then became an extraordinary Professor of astronomy in Göttingen, in 1812 he became a full Professor next to Gauß.
